From last night:

“Now we have pretenders all around us who want to tell you, ‘Pick me because I’m kind of like what you picked before, but not quite as crazy,’” Christie said at one point. “But I don’t want to say his name because, for these other pretenders, he is — for those of you who read the Harry Potter books — like Voldemort, he is he-who-shall-not-be-named.”

This came just after Christie disparaged one of his opponents by saying that “a lonely, self-consumed, self-serving mirror hog is not a leader.”
Let me be clear, he continued: “The person I am talking about who is obsessed with the mirror, who never admits a mistake, who never admits a fault, and who always finds someone else and something else to blame for whatever goes wrong — but finds every reason to take credit for anything that goes right — is Donald Trump.”

Where was he in 2016? Christie was fawning over Trump once he saw the writing on the wall. Now he wants credit for kicking Trump while he is down. His characterization, which is spot on about Trump is also spot on about Biden, as well as to one extent or another the vast majority of politicians, especially those that run for the office of President. It seems that politics attracts a large segment of the narcissist community. They are very much overrepresented. I would love to see more diversity and inclusion in that arena. I don't know what the percentage of humble, truthful, sane, or competent are in the general population but I can't help but expect that it is much higher than what we are seeing in politics.

Well seriously, did ANYONE ANYWHERE expect that not to happen from Donald "Slim" Trump's camp?

Where was he in 2016? Christie was fawning over Trump once he saw the writing on the wall. Now he wants credit for kicking Trump while he is down.

It makes me laugh when Conservatives try to discredit someone for....changing their mind based on their interpretation of events.

I doubt many truthful, sane or competent people would run for office in the current environment.
