Everyone can tell you about Oskar Schindler, but does anyone know Chiune and Yukiko Sugihara?

Chiune Sugihara, a convert to Orthodoxy saved 10 times as many Jews from the Holocaust as Schindler.

I think he's almost forgotten, because he's Japanese (and Orthodox)!

I pray that more people recognise this great example of Orthodox Christian compassion.

I just finished reading a most fascinating collections of articles about St. Nikolai (Kasatkin) of Japan (this was pre book publication). The history of the Orthodox Church in Japan is quite interesting and St. Nikolai was such a dynamic servant of God. I really suggest you learn more about him, so inspiring! (so says the biased East Asian studies major )

I had read of him a long while back. I never knew that he was a Christian. . .that is very, very interesting.
