CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Good morning everyone...we are gearing up for our trip to Eric's house. Some of you may be getting a big snow storm...we are a little cold here I think because of it. Cold is in the 50's for us...LOL.

We MAY have some snow/rain mix Christmas eve into Christmas day...but not a big storm and may be mostly rain.
I just hope travel isn't affected and family can get to our home

I will keep in touch, I take my lap top with me...
Gracie had her 3rd shot yesterday...the vet said he could tell her leg was healing...sooooo wonderful for all of us.

We have arrived safely at our son's home...we are a little pooped...had some traffic snags in unexpected places, but no harm done to anyone...just a lot of delays and holiday travelers, mixed with road contruction bottlenecks. We are glad to be here.

We're going to be traveling by car to and from family gatherings several days in a row starting on Saturday. We're praying for safety, especially if it involves snow. I know that many of you will be doing the same thing, so all of you will be in my prayers.
