Lovely pics Dave....it looks like another world.
Everything is barren here now that all the leaves have dropped and we have had a hard frost/freeze.
At a glance (can't see all the markings), that guy looks like our mourning dove

The dove in the picture below, is our wood pigeon/ "mourning dove"
_albeit a young one, in immature plumage

The other one.... ~the one, I thought, might be called a Chaff
and a websearch reveals it to be a member of the finch family

We have had finches here [very often]
But this was the first sign of the Chaff [finch family]
It was driven off by a Magpie...
something we see when Magpies are nesting
or there is a bird of prey around... a Hawk or, even a Rook can be mobbed here
in season.... very strange!!

I know next to nothing about photo-shopping.

Guess I will have to sign up for a class at my local community college.

I do not even have any idea on what class to take now.
There are so many different types of computer classes.

Is there a class on how to operate a cell phone and access all the tiny buttons to activate the camera, etc.

I guess I am technology challenged.

It has many of the tools that Photoshop has
BUT! absolutely NONE of the cost

The POOR MAN'S Photoshop... LOL

Yes, Maria,

I took a crop of the turkey wattle [and saved it, to one side]
next I cropped my head from a photo of me and placed it over the turkey
and resized it to be proportionate with head of turkey
then added back the wattle and added the text, to last
et Voila!!!

Let me assure you, you are not 'technology-challenged'.
At least you know how to Run a FORUM...

WHEN you have the Video-camera, & other gimmicks figgered out DO TELL...

Technology-challenged, is when you go into a Cellphone stores, & say:
"Um, how can this thing even Dial a number, it's only 1 by 3 inches". &
the Clerk had to Show me how my Cell-phone can even go Online, to convince me.
or
worse, at every Oil-change, my mechanic says: "Ready for another neat trick that your Minivan haz"
