Beautiful pictures - THANKS - I enjoyed them.

Speaking of beauty, my wife and I took another drive out into our Wildlife Refuge tonight. We saw a lot of animals the last time, but we were stopped from going to our favorite place by a wildfire being fought. We went back tonight and were pretty sad to see so many more acres burned and black, but we saw more animals than ever tonight.

We are assured that all of the animals will be cared for. In the midst of all the destruction, there was new life (i.e. deer, long horns, and buffalo). They are beyond cute and beautiful. I wish that I could take good pictures, but that isn't one of my skills. Many of the animals we saw tonight were just days or weeks old. It's a stark contrast between what is destroyed and what is new.

I see that as God's mercy to us, lest we be crushed by destruction...He lives!

Thanks Brother Dave for the information on a good camera. My wife and I just might go shopping for one soon. We have a Kodak that might work if we learn a little more about how to use it. I wish we had the camera with us on our last visit to the Wildlife Refuge. We had to potential to take some really nice pictures. We've had several times just recently with wild animals just feet away from us. A couple of weeks ago we were sitting on our favorite bench near a stream with a 10-point Bull Elk just about 25 feet away from us. We just sat quietly and watched him eat. I assume he didn't think we represented much of a risk. The animals on our refuge are definitely wild, but they are all completely protected, so many of them don't fear people.

At the least, you've encouraged me to try some more with pictures.

I agree with Dave....a small point & shoot is how I got stared with a camera, they are easy to tote around and take good pictures, you are already "seeing" a lot to photograph...seeing with your heart.

Thanks again for the good information Brother Dave. I'll get Paint.net, and I just got a printer that will do all kinds of things with photos. I already can upload my pictures from my camera to the computer, so I might be able to do more than I think. It's ironic that I've done all kinds of work with graphics but little or nothing with photos.

I came across an old pic of the garden pools at the former matrimonial home

It was a very small photo 3 x 5 inches
and has not enlarged too well...
but the presence of my son 'Paul' in the image
will give an impression of it's size
Paul, was around 3 foot tall at that time

Yesterday my nephew(12 years)told me that he had find the most beautyfull music in the world,
speciall music that brings him inner peace and empties his head.
he showed me this video and soon as the music started
i saw the look in his grey eyes. such a speciall moment.
Why speciall?
my nephew has a autistic disorder and can't stand some noises but this music touched him
and for the first time i saw my nephew happy with music.
