Glad the keys turned up Ley. You are working hard on that greek. Is it for a larger educational plan or just for interest? we have hooks for keys but of course no one ever uses it. I do sometimes and often surprise myself looking for a key and then actually finding that I have hung it up. My strategy is a secret stash of keys.

I am so relieved that my lost key was handed in. I usually put it straight into my handbag (purse) but was distracted.
The Greek is hopefully to be used for my dissertation if I can afford to start my Masters degree again. My professor said I should take a year out but I missed my studies too much to do that so in a way the Greek is a compromise. I got 95% for my first homework.

How is everyone today? We have been busy getting the grass cut before the weather turns here. I still have borders to tidy and weed. I will look in when I can.

Linda's hosting a baby shower for our middle daughter. I'm writing a brochure for our church. We have the Blessing of the Animals this evening, and worship in the morning. It's shaping up to be a fine weekend, indeed!

Our little dog will be 12 in January.

Well, how is everone doing? We are being threatened with postal strikes over here in the UK. The advise is that we post our Christmas cards now. Oh boy!! :o

It is Rob's birthday next week but we are having friends over on Saturday for a pudding party. I think it should be fun.

Doing well here. Sorry to hear about the pending postal strike. Even in this age of email, and all the other electronic forms of communication, we still depend on the post office more than we realize.

Way back a few years when it was like the hottest thread in GE it was stickied. It has become less popular lately but for many new to GE it was a nice place to start posting and meeting people. Kay ays fellowshipping thread/Question of the Day has kind of taken its place but will end after 2000 posts so it would be good to keep the chit chat sticy I think. Jan

Good afternoon. Kitty and Benjamin are back at their house now. We had a good time while they were here. Went to Red Lobster last night and today we went to a Fall festival. The best part was we were able to make a lifesize scarecrow. We stuffed hay into a pair of jeans and a shirt and used a burlap bag for the head. He came out cute. Kitty took him home to put on her porch.

Sounds like so much fun. Glad you could spend time with them. We had church today our familiy did the music. The boys and hubby will work on the suite this afternoon and evening. Tomorrow will also be a construction day as the deadline fast approaches were mom will have to vacate her present place. I plan on doing the big Thanksgiving meal tomorrow. Right now i plan no having a nap. Jan

I am in a chatty mood this evening ...

Well, today didn't go quite as planned but never mind. It is quite dull, wet and windy here but there again it is autumn. I need to get around to thinking about Christmas shopping and trying to be a bit more organised.
I made my first pumpkin pie last week and it was a huge success. I need to find time to make a huge batch of pumpkin soup for the freezer. I managed to grow 3 pumpkins this year and I have them in the greenhouse at the moment but I know I can't store them out there for much longer.

OK, that is some of my up to date new - so what are y'all up to ?
