CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hello everyone 
I hope you are all ok? We have been busy here today. This morning we went out to the timberyard. They are selling offcuts of timber in bags at £5.00 for 3 bags. This works out cheaper than buying kindling for the woodburner. Later we went grocery shopping and stopped to have coffee. It is very cold here so we are just staying indoors mostly. We have plenty of indoor things to do - reading, cooking,knitting and watching tv. My crochet magazine arrived in the post today so I will browse through that later I have ironing I have to tackle - I am working up to that.

On two seperate occasions since CF came back up
I have been required to sign-in AGAIN

Today is very drizzly and cold and gloomy. We had a pro day at school so I got to go in and work on my own preparing review math activities for my student.
