CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hello everyone, I have to say Good Afteroon as it's nearly 4pm. Just popped by to say Hubby and I shared a bug! two weeks! I thank the lady who answered my pm and guided me to CP. you'r allowed to smile at this, I came on and didnot recognise the site, thinking it was perhaps a sister to the CF I had known I searched for days for the NEW site!
So now I have to browse and learn this new way but some of the CF previous will stand in good stead for some understanding.
I'm slowing recovering and want to say a Huge Thank you to you all that I can come and catch up with all the news in the posts.
later I will find those right sections. It will take a while maybe a week, more or less depending on time here.
If you pass me in the corridor please say hello.
I laughed when I saw WWW. and thought Wornout washed out and weary! (past few days of that yucky bug)
God is and always will be, that is enough. I hope to catch up with you.. love from the lowlands and me too. jahy.. jean

Yea dave but my chordless is my house line. Guess I could use my mobile to call my chordless phone but then that is just getting a bit silly. Actually the chordless has a call button that usually suceeds in letting me know where it is hiding.

You can also use one of the new backgrounds (not CF ones) and it will fit the space. Then hit the button "layer down" until all of your characters etc are showing correctly...or you can make Dave work real hard! L
