Hello gratefulgrace, I have been trying to find you to thank you for blessings you gave me, I am only just learning how to do things on this forum, it was very kind of you, I hope we can become friends, maybe I will some of my memories here if that is permitted, thanks againjayh I read the post that Lavenderlee made and daves response. There was no age listed for your friend so no way to know she was not 50 +. It appears to me that dave was just giving her some welcome advice. It is good to read the rules and maybe that is what she did and felt she could no longer post in GE threads. i am sorry you have lost contact with your friend but as the post following show she was welcomed to the thread not turned away. Good afternoon from a sunny, windy central Texas! But inside my house it is perfect because I got a new beautiful floral couch and loveseat yesterday and it is so bright and colorful now! Truthfully, I've had friends and family popping in and out all day and all last evening and finally everyone has gone home and I can sit on my new furniture!

What part of US? Are you in line for the big storm on the east coast?Good Morning from the USA.
We have big sno flakes coming down. Sure which Spring would get here.
I live in the midwest. So the storm missed us. Thank God. We have a few inches still but I hope that the warmer weather that we are expecting this week will take care of that. What part of US? Are you in line for the big storm on the east coast?
I'm a little sad right now. Remember the puppies I posted a picture of a few weeks back? Well, the last of them found a home tonight. I think I'm having some separation anxiety right now.
I got a phone call about two hours ago from a young woman asking if I had any puppies left. After a few seconds of hesitation, I told her about the only one left, fat black jack, making sure to fine tune his better points. She listened politely and then told me that her father had to put his dog of fifteen years down on friday and that same day, the doctors told her mom she only had about two months to live with the cancer that came back after two years of remission. She said her dad was lost.I told her where I live, and after I hung up, I immediately went outside and got jack. I brought him in the house and sat on the floor with him and started brushing his thick coat. I talked to him for about thirty minutes while he laid there loving the brushing. Or maybe it was the talk, I don't know. I told him that he apparently had a much more important job than that of loving me waiting a few miles away. I told him where God closes one door, He opens another. I told him he was going to be so happy and so loved. Then I stopped talking and brushing and just sat there and let the tears fall on that beautiful black coat of his. He squirmed a bit and then got up to inspect the cat.
As much as it tears at my heartstrings, I know he will be taken care of now.
