  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Don't think I even hinted at all the 'wonders of the world'.

I was specific about this forum and this forum alone.
Cheers, Jim
subsisting in drought-conditions/ aside *excitingly  new* discoveries... is what inspired me to write the previous post. Some of us, aware that much of what GOD enabled humanity with, has yet by it to be "discovered" (especially including a majority if His 'children')
happily-live, making various contributions. And yes you're right, this is cause for Cheer! :)

Yes, that's true. Our reactions are unpredictable.
To GOD, our actions are all known, hence we are predictable.
yet, He presents us with choices :
The choice of fear, reject ourselves & others, and  harm each other in evermore destructive ways.
As well as
The choice of LOVE, accepting ourselves & others, and  helping each other in evermore constructive... ways.

Yet our reactions may be the only thing we can control.
The choice of LOVE, accepting ourselves & others, and  helping each other in evermore constructive... ways.

I pray that others may see Jesus in me.
by your chosen fruits... you shall be known.

Merlin, who posts in CF here, lives such  choices... and guides/mentors others in so doing as well.

What a Christ-like  example... Merlin serves to many. ~ Annie

HAVE A GREAT DAY YA ALL !

Don't miss the boat.

Remember that we are all in the same boat.

Plan ahead. It wasn't raining
when Noah built the Ark.

Stay fit. When you're 600 years old, someone
may ask you to do something really big.

Don't listen to critics; just get on with
the job that needs to be done.

Build your future on high ground.

For safety's sake, travel in pairs.

Speed isn't always an advantage.
The snails were on board with the cheetahs.

Remember, the Ark was built by amateurs;
the Titanic by professionals.

No matter the storm, when you are with God,
there's always a rainbow waiting.

WOW Jim you are a lucky man; A "Rainbow" every morning when you wake up!

Rainbow1.jpg

I photographed this one over a year ago.

Hope you don't mind seeing some of my photos from time to time...I had to get the box out of the closet and organize them and do some archiving on the scanner. Do you know how many photos it takes to get a few good ones? For an amature like me, it is A LOT, therefore I get really excited about a good one. When I shot this, I wasn't even sure you could photograph a rainbow at all.

Hi Jo it has been awhile since I have seen you here. Jim glad you are getting reconnected. Spring that is a very nice picture for an amateur. It is good to see everyone Dave and Annie and all. Yes its Monday and I was back to work with out the students, at least my students. I got to supervise a Biology 11 exam. I peeked at the questions. OOPS its been awhile and I think I would fail. Then I got to clean shelves and sort through special ed resources ALL DAY. I find the regular school day goes by so much faster. Tomorrow I get to do two exams back to back total over 3 hours. BUT then I get to got to a job coach appreciation tea in the later afternoon. (I job coach some of my special ed students throughout the year in the community at different jobs I really enjoy it) It is nice to be appreciated. Jan

Mirror, mirror, on car wing
please help this sorry-bird to sing
for she would wish more than anything
to win her man and wear his ring

of, course 'she' is a bird
you couldnt say that, about a guy

Unless youre talking that guy
who would comb his hair Route 66
he liked glass windows LOL

once or twice a day is plenty
any more! than that
would create static
and give it the frizzies
and Split-Ends !

LOL.... "make it easy on yourself"
I forgot the singer's name  ?
was it Sandie Shaw ?
