re: the '7 nothing' threads of mine, (you are complaining about) -
1. I have not yet learned how to do my photobucket-account. So,

Lesson on the word "DON'T as taught in some NLP Neuro-Linguistic Programming Training Class"
It is said that Our behaviors and outcomes are determined by the representations we create and imagine in our minds. When we precede a statement with the word don't, for example: Don't think of a blue elephant, our unconscious mind negates the negative not in don't and creates an image of what we were not supposed to think of. How big is your blue elephant?

The theroy is studied concerning our ability to create our desired outcomes in life. It is theorized that often times we will have thoughts or make statements regarding what we don't want to happen, and our creative unconscious mind will create the imagery of what we wanted to avoid, making it more likely to occur.

It is then believed by some that all statements or affirmations should be made in the positive so our unconscious mind will direct us to accomplish our goals and dreams.

I first heard that expression in Albuquerque as a young Christian in my 20's, listening to Christian radio all day long because I was so hungry for the Lord. That day it was overcast and gloomy, but the announcer came on and said that every day in the Lord is lovely. He was right.

Every day in the Lord Jesus Christ is lovely. If in doubt, spend some time first asking Him to search your heart for any sin and ask Him to cleanse you. Then just thank Him for all the good things He's done for you. Worship Him, praise Him, for the Word says that as you draw near to Him, He will draw near to you, James 4:8.

Springrain! Did you just write that about not pushing the button? I am familiar with that idea through people who have come from violent homes. You profess so much (to yourself) that you will not be like that parent, that it becomes an obsession and your mind automatically recalls what that bad parent did so much so that you become like them after all. so sad !

I am so sorry you have been hurt. So sorry. You who speak such words of comfort and encouragement and love to so many, and to be hurt. I pray you won't be hindered by this attack to stop sharing your gifts with us. You are very loved. I don't understand how any one can attack another one, especially in our little nest. I know it happens, I have seen some of the sharp words written on different threads and have heard the hurt in what others write who have been attacked. I am so sorry it has happened to you. I love to read every post you write because I glimpse a bit of Jesus in your words. I am praying for you dear sister, Cindy

I took today off work as it is Pro Day in our school district. I was supposed to do a reading workshop on teaching Students with Developmental Disablilities to Read. I am really into that but have a cold so figured it is better to get the notes from someone who will be there, rest today and get better and then actually be able to be there for the students tomorrow.
It is looking like it might be a nice day today here with blue sky peaking through the clouds. I Love It. Jan
