Hey folks,
I sure hope everyone will go down and welcome Alltalknoaction BACK to this forum. He was chased out by you know who, just because he was only 40. We are just getting new contributors and we don't want to be chasing them, as rudely as this was done.

Ok, last complaint..Let's get on with the fun thing and good fellowship.

Cheers, Jim
OK; I read that thread; and was  stunned !!- to read that
a (supposed) Superior called a "40"year-young person (in this nest) an IMPOS-TER ???
That (unChristlike humiliation ) FORCED me to start my husband's 48th *Birthday*-thread
http://www.christianforums.com/t4698293-help-dear-unni-jojo-bonnie-allother-friends-.html
over in the German-forum
http://www.christianforums.com/t4698122-stevies-geburtstag-heute-diese-woche-.html- where he still can't respond
because tho he lived in Germany & can speak German, (he doesn't know how to write german)

Additionally for the past 3 months,
(my husband =
ISk8Joyful2) has not even posted in thread of (Skating = our *passion*).

The longer I read in CF, the more I question this place *valueing
Christ*. so,
who ;)'s gonna prove otherwise  by
Warmly :hug:INVITING my  husband to post... in my/our thread.

Jolly good morning to all. It is quite cold again this morning, but can Spring be far behind?

The fact remains, as I discovered, the age for this forum is minimum 50! What I addressed is the way it was handled. I welcome all newcomers here and trust they will find fellowship and not humiliation. None of us has anything about which to boast.

Cheers,

Jim

As I recall Alltalknoaction came to this group with a specific reqest. I have no problem with other visitors who are seeking something and look to those of us who are mature in years and experienceand hopefully faith, if we can be of any help to them.

Blessings

We have been having threads posted lately by two people who are not even near 50 and they have asked good valid questions of us. I for one think that is great!! Aren't the young supposed to learn from the elders?? If we don't even allow them in how and from whom will they learn?? Or if the 'powers that be' absolutely don't want those under 50 to post they need to put a stop on it like they have on the 'teens' posting you cannot post there unless you're 12- whatever and if you aren't those ages it stops you. So is that what we need?? I hope not, I for one would not like that.(I understand why they have it on the teen forum to protect them, I don't think we need protection)

This is just a comment:

I have been a member of CF for a few years. I took several months to get many projects done but now I have returned. I love this forum because it is so fun getting to know other people in the same age bracket that I am. I appreciate each member, the way they see things, the way they state things....it is a melting pot of so many backgrounds and experiences. We all have one thing in common, we love and serve the Lord Jesus Christ. Some members have been hurt by others and that is a very sad thing. It makes me hurt inside to think that some have been misunderstood. To be misunderstood is a very difficult thing to endure. We are all at different stages in our lives and as Christians, we all belong to one body, His Church. I look forward to reading comments from others as well as prayer concerns, jokes, and observations. Thank you for allowing me to voice my comment.

Such a lovely day to-day, I decided to go visit a friend who has Alpacas. It was so delightful to walk among these "mini" camels....and even watch them spit across the barn...at other animals. One eve close enough to sniff my hand, but I think she got whiff of dogs and backed off.

I wear alpaca wool socks and believe me they are worth every penny for those of us with neuropathy and frigid feet.

Cheers,

Jim

You must love to go hear him sing.
My oldest son used to sing in a classic boys choir. You know all the beautiful sacred songs in Latin and Italian and stuff. Oh Danny Boy was my favourite though. Jan
Yes, it is very-special, when we, as well as our children, *enjoy* such participations :) Jan.
I have sung in such choirs also (starting as a small-child in Germany); before
serving as Choir-director, in 4 states here.
My daughter chose different *creative*-expressions, tho.

Thanks! for Sharing.....Good..... memories ~ Annie

This thread of chit-chat is the first and sometimes only read for me. It is timely for those who use it as such, the introduction page for all.

The only time I sang in public a lady got up and turned the pulpit microphone off.......Hmmm I may heve been off tune.

Cheers, and HAPPY reading,

Jim
That is so funny Jim. I have always wished I could sing as beautifully as it sounds in my head! Something happens when it comes out of my mouth! Both of my children are gifted singers. They just didn't get the gift from me! ha!
