What is meant by "sticky" and why is it needed?

First post in this section! Qualified, age-wise, just last month. 2 grown sons, 1 grown daughter; she's the youngest. Older son is married; and I am the grandpa of THE absolute most cutest, most adorable grandchild ever! A boy, 15 months old! No one else's grandchild comes anywhere near. My younger son finished up a 4-year tour of duty in the Marines, and was in Iraq, from March 2006 to Sept. God kept Him safe! Pray for my daughter. She's responded to God's call on her life, to foreign missions. She needs financial support for a trip to Asia, this summer.
She's a sophomore in college.

Have I missed something here?

Did someone ask for a thread to be made 'sticky'?

If so PM me with the detqails and your reasons for wanting it and I'll have a word with my Super, I'm sure she will be happy to allow any reasonable request.

I think the question was Wot is a sticky? It goes back to when we were asking that this thread, when it was renewed, be made a sticky...........Deed done!

A sticky is,,,well,,er,,ah,,,,a sticky. You know, like, the opposite to one that is not a sticky. Now this is a sticky post..........

Welcome aboard!! abimelech!!Now that you turned that "Golden" age glad to have you in the Eagles Nest! Just be careful of one little thing that you said that could get some folk just a weee bit upset, and that is , "we all have the "cutest grandchildren, because the Lord made them all" to some of us Mommys and Grandmas those are fightin words. Have fun and please post often

First snow day of the year(usually we've had 5 or6 by now. Had 14in. of snow since 12 last night. I think we could have had school but we have the days so why not use them!!(way school people think)(not parents)Now I remember why I don't like winter, clean off car let it warm up dig out boots, shovel driveway!!! Fun fun fun.

Glad you got the snow, B. We were supposed to get some snow last night, but it went all about us. We did get heavy frost though, and motorcar windows were solid ice. Wife uses a garage, and she just smiles as she drives out clean,,,,and I am still scraping.

Nevermind, weatherman says it will be way above freezing in a day or two and no snow in sight.

Ya I know!! High 40's by this weekend. Snowmobiles are still crying. Ground had to be froze before they can go out. It is already starting to melt here

Ya kinda feeling the same Jim. I've been off because a little sick, but getting kind of bored here also. I thought I'd give a look to new Christian forum maybe I could give some encouragement there. I don't know what's going on here maybe people are just being careful with what they say.
