Hello all!

Some years ago I was astounded when my youngest child, then nine, announced that he wanted to play the violin. He had raided my CDs to find violin music, listened to several selections, acquired a form from school that invited him to classes, and then filled the form out himself. All on his own. Fait accompli. Sign here, he said. A couple of months later, his brother, two years older, got jealous. He wanted violin lessons, too, and an instrument, of course. He didn't get a great violin, neither did, just what we could afford. Eventually they both ended up with better instruments.

I guess I'm telling you all this just to share the joy. Today I'll be out most of the day because both my teens are playing in three different concerts. Isn't God good!

I love you all. May God richly bless you through this day!

That's excellent, Ariel! Enjoy it, dear one!
My son took classes in cello for several years, and he also played in a string orchestra. It was so great.
My daughter has taken classes in classical ballet for several years (and still is), and it has become a passion of hers. It feels good to see the kids ''grow'' in what they are passionate about. :)

Leo gave us a bit of a scare at lunchtime. We took him to the vet and she says she thinks he had a partial seizure. He seems fine now but she says it could happen again. He was going to be vaccinated but she preferred to hold off in case he needs to have bloods taken in the next few days.

Thanks Dave. At the moment Leo seems absolutely fine but he did give us quite a scare at the time. He is snoozing on the bed at the moment.

We were down "your way" a couple of days ago. We like Bristol. Had coffee in Starbucks in the Cribbs Causeway.

Hi :) "Dave" < this is your name, right?
Notice I am in the habit, of calling you by your name.
Just as
my name is "Annie", or you may use "sk8Joyful".

My name is "sk8" not.

Demands, are
CHALLENGES TO ENGAGE THE TASK REQUIRED OF ONE
are they not ?
Not in my understanding. To me, your definition speaks to 2 different things.

Do you recall a post of your's that requests
"WELL ? Task is waiting ?" words to effect of??????
>> Is "ancient" not! ~ I just posted that Request, less than an hour ago. ~ So,
will you *post these Requested pictures* for "my project", then? :) Annie
<<<
The 2nd. sentence was my way of *asking* whether
you were *interested*, in posting the Actual-pictures, for my project

Do you not remember
urging me to complete
Why would I "urge" you to complete :confused: anything?

whilst my reply was THAT TASK IS ANCIENT ?
which you refuted ? was! so-ancient
with>
"I just poted that request less-than AN HOUR AGO" ??

do you?
Do I what?

May I remind you Dave, I am neither one of your children, nor another child,
nor the wife who divorced you.
So -
while you find it within yourself to speak *sweet* to other women here,
might I suggest you conduct yourself also *nice* with me,
it will make our communications easier, on you.

Thank :) you

and FACT:
I had answered /completed Task
unbeknownst to yourself?
Yes, you did - "post 6-linkies"; which
as I explained, I know How to do already.

I would say that
such messaging was DEMANDING
You say that because
you are bound & determined to twist all I say into negatives -
so (regarding me) you can feel justified in feeling bad.

In the meantime, you're missing what, in fact, I did say.

as I am sure others would likewise
You say that because

feel the URGE to deal Annie a 'suitable reward' ?
Fortunately :) Dave -
I have/acknowledge but one judge, this being JESUS CHRIST - and
I must say HE does much better
1. Knowing people, and therefore
2. Judging people, than you have to date. Might this be, because HE first actually :) Knows
and
I find in the presence of JESUS CHRIST, one other Big-advantage:
You see Dave, HE always *Builds :thumbsup: me :clap:UP* << Give this considerable ;) thought.

(It wouldn't occur to JESUS CHRIST to tear me down )

EDIT:
For example, when you first got here, I Blessed you with 1000-blessings, which
on you paying SS, you returned to me.
Immediately, I returned to you, Dave, .................. *2,000*-blessings. Why?
Because even as you 'misjudge'; me, I'd rather *Bless you* - showing the other cheek.
Just another way,
in how you & I are different.

I agree to remove DEMAND
if, you will acknowledge
the suitability of 'other terms' to replace it ?
such as: 'repeatedly require in her impatience''

dave
Manipulating me, into playing this sick little game, is futile.

I went to *ICESkating :clap:practice* this morning and
showed my Skating-friends your last PM to me,
you Dave entitled
: "having the last word

your-PASTIME is-your's,
NOT MINE
or anyone else's here

idolatry is not allowed.
dave
"
~~~
Now, All (everyone) of these Skaters - ages 4 thru/past 73 :D are *Faithful Christians*. And
I asked them: "Figureskating is idolatry :confused: ?; how so?" - their response, Dave, was: "Annie - come to
your senses, girl! - whoever these people are, have they? a clue about Jesus, the Bible ~ let alone
a Beautiful-sport like our Skating. And you've given these people, over a year! :confused: of
your precious time. Have you lost your mind!!! ~ You need to come practice with us more :hug: Sister
"
How wonderful :tutu: my friends *actually Live...in the Lord JESUS, & this JoyFully*
Cheers! Annie :wave:
Hi Jim haven't seen you around much. You must be busy outdoors getting the homestead in shape. It has been raining here quite a bit lately. It is supposed to clear up on Saturday in time for our church Annual work bee. Hope the weatherman isn't telling a whopper. I was going to use the cockney term but forgot what it was. Jan
It was a lovely warm day to-day. We worked in the firewood splitting most of the day. It started raining tonight.
Cheers,
Jim
It was lovely here yesterday too Jim. I got to work in the garden and the greenhouse. Today is rather overcast at the moment.
We are out to lunch at church today.
Well, Sheila, if you are "out to lunch" I shan't look for you in chat...lol.
Just a thought. In England, in my early days, if one did not know a person, it was prim and proper to call them by their family name, until they gave you permission to use their first name. So , Jones, How are you to-day? We might also add Mr. Jones to an adult man.
Further, it was an insult to address a medical doctor as Dr. Jones. He was o be called Mr. Jones. His goal was to beknighted and called Sir. Jones. All through school, from first year on I was called Mr. Stevens by my masters.
Just for fun.
Cheers,
Jim
Hi Jim
We have just done Sainsburys and now enjoying coffee before we go out. I will probably be around later. The new church we attend has a monthly lunch club and we enjoy both the food and the fellowship.
I am having fun and games finding a new filter holder for our 30 year old Melitta coffee maker. Ours is broken and it is difficult finding a replacement. I have just emailed the company but don't know how long they will take to get back to me. We try and buy things to last and don't really want to replace a perfectly good coffee maker for lack of a filter holder. I am of the generation that would rather fix if possible. LOL.
aww jubilant days!
enjoy!!
Thank you, Dave. Yesterday was absolutely lovely. I heard my 14-year old play with his orchestra in the morning, spent sometime with his group, and then heard my 16-year-old play with his orchestra in the afternoon.
Both groups are awesome. I was touched so much by the music. All this and heaven too! God is so good to me!
That's excellent, Ariel! Enjoy it, dear one!
I agree so much, NorwayUnn. It is good to see kids grow in what they are passionate about! I love cello and ballet. How blessed you are!
I don't know how long my sons will play viiolin. Both are thinking about engineering, and may never play again after high school. But at least for now, I hope they keep playing. I hope that by the time they leave high school they will be able to continue to play on their own, should they so choose.
And I hope that your son continues cello, (maybe later if he is not playing now), and your daughter ballet! :)
Hello Mr. Jim, Jan, Leytonstones, Spring!
I hope all is going well today with you and yours.
It sounds like spring has sprung for all of you. Hopefully, my husband and I will start our garden this week end, if it's not too windy.
Hi Ariel,
What are you planning on doing in your garden this year? We really need some rain here as the soil is very dry already. The greenhouse is beginning to look quite colourful now tho'.
