Hi All,

Today we are taking the motor home and our youngest to the north coast, where he will stay for a fortnight (2 weeks) and we will visit from time to time. Just waiting for him to put his clothes in the van. I'll drive the car up, so hubby and I have a means of transport home again.

This is the 12th weekend in Northern Ireland, when we supposedly commemorate King William's success against King James II, but it has caused a lot of ill feeling over the years. A lot of businesses close down for what is known as the 12th Fortnight - someone once tried to book a holiday (vacation) in England for the 12th Fortnight and was told, 'but there are only 2 fortnights in the month' lol.

Are you saying that the people of current Israel are God's children? I thought that the full armour of God referred to spiritual armour to equip the Christian against the attacks of the devil. How does this connect with Christians having guns?

There is a wonderful work for God going on in Israel where people from all sides are putting their trust in Jesus

Yes, they have spread throughout the world, buying up businesses, entering into governments
Where, their influence is becoming more-apparent
They, design and construct Unmanned Autonomous Vehicles

Yes, I do not doubt / deny your belief
Your opinion would simply not be shared by the Palestinian people
and their dead families /children

The cycle of violence between the Israelis & Palestinians is very sad. What happens when Hamas gets more advanced weapons I shudder to think.

It is so peaceful where I live here in Australia that I cannot even imagine what it must be like to live in a place where one faces ongoing conflict.

I did not seek to imagine 'worse' than what I am seeing

What is not being said in the media is, IMHO, a far greater crime, than the lies and concealment of real facts

As with the US intervention in Iraq
~where a mighty military force, there sought, to eradicate an armed uprising and, in the process, thousands of non-involved 'innocent' casualties were 'maimed, murdered and orphaned', simply, for being resident, in an area
that was overrun and being controlled by 'armed terrorists'
Israel too, has laid down barrages, that did NOT target, only Hamas and other terrorists, but also
innocent children and babies with their families and plainly, there are those that feel that this, was justifiable
Israel itself, however, is protected from missile attacks (Iron Dome) ~anti missile defence system

Overkill, is therefore 'my assertion' and, Christians should NOT
applaud and encourage such tactics, which, punish the innocent

Thank you very much. Maybe I should introduce myself. I am Micki. From Washington State. Married with 10 children & 2 grandchildren. Ages 30 down to 9. Grandchildren are 4 & 6 months. The first grandbaby is far away, down in St. Louis, the second is close. I get to see her usually twice a week! That is so much fun!
