A hearty hello to all this rainy morning here in Massachusetts.

I see we have some sweet newbees....welcome to all....it will take me a while to get to know you.

I went to church yesterday...it was one of those mornings where i got the feeling of being loved up...sooooo nice.
Then the leg pain kicked in for about 6 hours in the afternoon...this is a whole new level and kind of pain for me...duh....maybe it won't go on forever.

I did get out early enough to walk today...we are still very hot here.

We got some much needed rain here. Looks like fall is in the air.
Went to town for a few groceries this morning. Got a pizza for lunch.

Thanks brother Dave! May I offer you a little music/art trivia for your birthday? Alan and I love Joni Mitchell (back in the day) Her compositions were poetic; from the heart, down-to-earth and totally transparent. Her chord combinations are jazzy yet folkish. Her voice, oh her voice...was sublime!!! Much too perfect to be anything close to the ordinary. Lightening in the bottle? Supernatural? Perhaps. Talented beyond belief - this young girl not only sang like an angel but played several instruments as well. Still, she considered herself a painter first, then a musician. Were it not for her tremendous success in the music world, her paintings may not have been so valuable, as they are today. Here's an album that we both love and listen to very often when painting, talking and doing our thing. Hoping that you enjoy this album, I wish you a very happy birth day. And many more!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope you had a wonderful birthday brother Dave and made some new memories ...Was there cake? lol..I do so love birthday cake..grins.... Having a birthday dinner tonight for my beautiful daughter..her birthday is 23rd tomorrow but we are having her dinner tonight..I might get some cake!! .....Have been busy packing for a trip to Melbourne to see my brother so have not been in for a day or two..Am off on 24th September...As I don't have a laptop I won't be able to check in from there so will be back around 3 October or so.
