Hello Everyone,

I wish everyone a great week. My wife and I just came from the gym, and we share the same thoughts about working out. We really don't like it - but we do it to feel better and enhance our health. Is it working? Yes, I think so. As my wife said, "It couldn't hurt".

Smiles back..Yes, smiling IS contagious lol Hello there ...That's nice that you both enjoy an activity together....Wish I had a partner to share my activities with lol.. Perhaps one day again I may.. Funny how your wife said "It couldn't hurt" ..I have heard that exercising in a gym often "hurts" lol..Good luck to you both anyway....smiles....

when I was young I didn't see much help from exercise unless I was going out for a sports team. Then clearly practicing helped me a lot when it came time to the game or race.

When I really see the benefit now thru the 50s and even more as I start my 60s is even just walking 30 mins a day make a significant difference in my weight. Also gives me time to think, thank God and enjoy God's creation.

So exercising when young can develop a life style that will keep one healthier thru ones whole life.

LOL... I too see similar
but the 'notifications' disappear again, when, I refresh the page ie:
[Right Click the page and select RELOAD in FIREFOX]
[Right Click the page and select REFRESH in IE8]

I have always loved walking....I will get out there with the dog as often as weather and pain levels permit.

I am taking a lady to get eye surgery this morning...probably will be gone 4 hours; I have my handbag loaded with stuff...books, flip-flops and umbrella in case it rains...

Sometimes I need to remind myself of God's faithfulness, love and mercy....PRAISE GOD!! Our everlasting Father...

I got caught in the rain in July....I was wearing shoes that cannot get wet...should have taken them off and gone barefoot to the car.

So, with the uncertain showers around here, I was prepared today.

I am very tired, this took about 6 hours....and I have a full blown allergy attack starting...I am going to sit and let my nose run for a while.

Tomorrow I am lunching with an elderly woman friend of mine (82) who lost her husband not quite 2 years ago to Alzheimers then met up with her first boyfriend again (she was 16 at the time)..and found out he had lost his wife to the same illness..Cut along story short..they hit it off again and got married April this year lol..Anyway they appear to be very happy....She always said that my husband and I were so kind to her and previous husband when they first came to our church...We struck up a very good friendship from that first day upon meeting.. She gives me advice all the time and has told me I need to find my old boyfriend from UK lol.. I love her dearly so am looking forward to seeing her tomorrow..Will be just her and myself.. smiles...

I have found out that many of the elderly are very sweet and they oooze love to those around them....not all are like this but many....enough to be doing me good.

I feel terrible today....lots of sinus pain...cancelled the dentist for tomorrow. And we continue very hot & humid.....

It's been a pretty wet summer here, so lots of things are blooming that don't normally bloom. Translation - I'm also fighting allergies and sinus.

I couldn't get on the last time I tried here. All I got was the "Database Needs Prayer" page. The next time I tried to get on I got a "Optimizing System" message. I hope that things are better.
