Wow, it feels like fall here. Except for would-be swimmers, I don't think anyone's complaining. Today was a tad cool, but tomorrow will be warmer...still cool for August.

Hi Marsha and everyone else,

It's damp here, but quite warm. Did a spot of digging in the garden before lunch at hubby's favourite Chinese restaurant. It was a good time to do it as the rain came on during lunch. Yesterday when we were in the garden he pointed out a sunflower in a rain water barrel. I don't know how it got there, but it was one that was given to me a few years ago and I thought it had died.

I am with you Tom...I was just reading in 1 Peter again...then went to Romans 9...I have Matthew Henry's commentarY ON ROMANS 9...Being justified by faith in Christ!!!!! So simple, but many miss it and think they can work there way to heaven or be good enough to make points with God. Or that they have to work for something to please God...Jesus did it perfectly for those who believe in Him...and those who believe in Him will never be ashamed.
Man I get excited over this!!!!!!!

I also get excited about many things in the Bible - especially about events to come. Let's just say that these are interesting times that we live in for Bible Prophecy. In the meantime - KEEP LOOKING UP!

Wouldn't you know - my replacement router was a dud and only lasted two days. I just got the replacement for the replacement, and it appears to be up and going good. Let's hope so.

It seems like... just, 'staying online' ... is hard work, for some of us

My Graphics card, is really playing up since early yesterday
and screen is really unreadable [outside of SAFE MODE] on DELL

I must, give 'notice' * therefore, that I am very likely to be absent [for a while]
and maybe, also for extended periods

Know, that I will [now]
be attempting to get another computer I have [(upstairs) Compaq Presario 64bit] up and running
It's been sitting-around, useless, for @ 5years
I don't think I can afford to buy another [compatible] graphics card, for the Dell
not while I still have the car.... monies do not stretch to have enough 'to-spare',elsewhere

So, I am using this time ~to bring everyone 'up-to-date', with my predicament
