That is so terrible; we have seen it on the news and have been praying for all of you, for safety and and end to it all

And to think yesterday we got almost 4 inches of rain

Praying for cooler temps and better rest for you as well

This is bad, I think a state of emergency has been called for this fire, I think that means we can get more help to fight it.

Today, where I live, the temps are just soooo nice.

We went out for breakfast to celebrate hubby's birthday...we are so quiet anymore, then he bought some new socks...LOl. We have a little hole-in-the-wall place that is very popular here for breakfast...we enjoyed it.

I do appreciated the prayers....seems like the west is just getting more dried out every year.

It's trying real hard here to rain, and I hope it does. How do I know - Hank is deathly afraid of thunder, and he's a basket case. We actually have a good chance for rain every day for the next 4 days.

I was just thinking about this portion of Scripture and wanted to share it. It speaks volumes for Christians, and it speaks for itself without any commentary. Thank you God for the peace with have with you, your grace, your mercy, and your love.

I am with you Tom...I was just reading in 1 Peter again...then went to Romans 9...I have Matthew Henry's commentarY ON ROMANS 9...Being justified by faith in Christ!!!!! So simple, but many miss it and think they can work there way to heaven or be good enough to make points with God. Or that they have to work for something to please God...Jesus did it perfectly for those who believe in Him...and those who believe in Him will never be ashamed.
Man I get excited over this!!!!!!!

Sorry I haven't been around lately folks. I've been on a creative outburst of sorts. Painting, swimming, scrap-booking, recording music and finally, publishing.
