I've been silent because I've been struggling emotionally, as I do from time to time. I suppose all of us have variables in our life that we'd rather not have. Sometimes I get out of the joyful acceptance mindset, which doesn't do me a bit of good.

We finally have three days of wonderful weather coming up and I plan to be out in it some.

The Prince has a name: George Alexander Louis

This means perhaps another King George [in future]

There will doubtless, be more in the coming days, as the wider family are pictured with him

We all have a mix of current happenings, but we are still here. God is good, He knows we are fragile and made of dust. And He loves us!!!!!!..

We are just waiting out the summer here. My dil invited me to join her and grandson Grant at disneyland next week, but I decided not to go...I would enjoy them...but not Disneyland. plus, it is very expensive.

I have a church group meeting at my house to night, i like that.

I am just in after cleaning up the yard.
A nice young man from our Church is helping is with the lawn care as Jim recovers.
When I was throwing grass clippings behind our tool shed I spotted a LARGE pile of fresh MOOSE scat; darn, we missed him/her passing through

Hello everyone,

I loved the Royal baby pictures, Dave. I think he looks like the Queen in one of them! Praying for him to learn about Jesus at an early age.

It's still very warm here. We had rain for the first time in 3 weeks today and our umbrella cockatoo loved it - had her wings spread out, taking a free shower! We had thunder too.

I met my sister for lunch today - we try to meet once a month, but it doesn't always work out.

Nothing else out of the ordinary happened today.

As my children used to say "my bad." Nothing much going on here we have had a lot of rain and pretty much have to stay indoors. Of course watching my 18 month granddaughter can be a challenge.

Never a dull moment with grandbabies for sure...enjoy

Speaking of dull moments (NOT)....tonight a skunk greeted Penny and I as we stepped onto the porch
Thankfully Penny was on a leash (always is by nightfall because of animals wandering through),
and the skunk turned and ran as soon as it spotted us

We got 1/2 inch of rain this morning, and we have a 90% chance of rain tonight. Thank you Lord.

I was just laughing and thinking how glad I am that Penny didn't catch that skunk.

She has had a few close encounters .....one with a baby skunk last year (don't know which of them was more in shock; it didn't spray lol),
and a porcupine this year....so we keep her on a tight leash after dark!
