I really need fellowship and friends as all my family disowned me when i became a christian, I especially miss my sister because we saw so much of each other, but the Lord provides. I feel more for my daughter because none of her cousins are aunts and uncle speak to her, she has lost faith although she did attend the Alpha course with me and really enjoyed it but she suddenly backed off and did not want to even talk about it, and has become very defensive, I have tried to be patient and just let her see my faith in action, and prayed to the Lord and left it in his hands. But it breaks my heart.

I think I took a double dose of levothyroxine yesterday by mistake,( the doctor has started me off on 50g), so I did not take one today, please pray that I will be ok. I will have to think of a better system to make sure I don't make a mistake.

The pharmacy (or any store) should have inexpensive pill boxes (examples below).

I have used the 7 day (single dose)

and the weekly (4 dose per day), which I found to be more convenient.

You can set your pills up for the week, but each day can also be removed to take with you, and has sections for 4 doses per day

I am so sorry you have lost your family like that
The Lord will provide for your faithfulness, and we can pray they will have a change of heart for you...and for Him

Thanks guys for your advice, yes my hubby is saying the same thing and is going to buy a pill box. The pack of pills i have do not have anything on the back of them but the name of the pills.

Shirley, I hope you go and enjoy. With this speech impediment, I know about isolation. I'm blessed with a few friends, but there are times...

Don watched that race, too, Shirley, and I looked on and remember it well. Still, it just seems like a foolish risk to take. I know many people enjoy it. Don surely liked it, even better than baseball, I do believe. His 60th birthday would have been Wednesday, Feb 6, so he's been on my mind this past week.

I wish I had read this last night....I was up past midnight...very tired but could not sleep...did a lot of praying as it scared me to think of going to that fellowship this morning...
Now this am I slept late....but felt I had made a decision to go to these little get togethers...just needed to get my bearings...they meet twice a month.

About NASCAR....men just like to go fast....some of them anyway...I have a son who told me that about himself long time ago..."I just like to go fast mom". LOL I am very slow...I like to go slow.

Angelwind that sounds really good, I pray that all works out and you can enjoy fellowship, I will pray to the Lord for healing to give you strength, if you do get to go eventually let us know how you got on.

I am moving on the 4th and the church is in the next road I am so looking forward to going, i can't drive so it's great that i will be able to walk there. O Debby thanks for posting, I should have come back in here to read last night, but I think...things have worked out well...I needed to pray about my concerns to the Lord Himself, first...now I can see better what to do.

I think you will be fine...I have taken my thyroid meds incorrectly before and no real harm was done...doing it over or under for a long time will ypset your sysmtem...but not one dose. IMO

We use pill boxes with the sections of each day marked on top....easy to read...some of them are double sided, with am and pm slots...they are very handy.

Thank you so much for your reassurance Angelwind, so far I feel fine today, I will carry on taking the pill in the morning at 7.00 am, I have been on 50g now for about 3 months so they are well in my system, I am going for more tests to how my levels are.

I will be praying for you everyday Angelwind be assured, prayer is so powerull. I feel for you so much, and I will praying for the Lord to work powerfully into your situation in a miraculous way, for courage, strength, for the Lord to lift you make you soar as on wings of an eagle Isaiah chapter 40, everything is possible with the Lord and his power working within us. Ephesians 3 v 20

These words and promises are so wonderful from the Lord they have helped me so much, please speak them out and pray for me too everyone.

My hubby is trying to get me teach me to play chess, I have always played drafts and find it nice and easy, so never wanted to learn it, he started to teach me but it is so complicated. But I will try.


Dave I was looking back a bit on this thread and saw some great pictures of you and your wife, you are a very handsome couple, you both look very cosy in your home, and at first I though that was a real dog, I did a double take lol.

possibly an after-effect of having flu jab [immune system slipping]
other symptoms, are/ were cracks in the internal lining of nose [MRSA ?]
stiff joints / painful shin bones, sore eyelids [corners]
Runny nose secretions, a temporary return to the cough [with mucus, this time]

Have had my Ramipril up-titrated by 100% to maximum dose [10mg]


Whether, the increased dosage is responsible for a cessation of the nose bleeds [?]
or, that 'symptom', along with the others mentioned [above]
had simply 'run their course' and, would have ceased in any case [is debateable]

I am nonetheless grateful for the s on my behalf (((((hug)))))

I am still on ointment for nose infection and olive oil for ear wax [no pain, in ear]

Debbie how sweet of you...I think the Lord is pulling me gently out of my corner...He has used Gail a lot in my life...the internet ministry is very real.

I have had another good quiet time with the Word and the Lord this morning...feel much more stable inside...or peaceful...it pays to go slowly sometimes.

50 mg of thyroid supliment is not much...I take 100mg in divided doeses each day. Still the throid is a crucial gland...supplying energy to the whole bodily system...doesn't take much to make one feel yucky when it is off.


Do you see a special dr? I could have seen one here instead of the gp...but I did not like the gland dr...They do understand the tests better and know more about how everything works together.

This is the first time I saw this thread. doh. It's nice to have a fellowship thread here. I'm sorry to all of you who are suffering and praying for your healing. A recent problem has arose for me. My knee caps hurt. I can feel pain when I stand up and when I touch my knee cap. Are there any exercises anyone knows to help this? I haven't been to the doctor yet. Bless you all.

I, too, need prayer. Since I moved over here, I no longer have access to my good doctor. Well, now, my herniated discs are really hurting as well as all over muscle and joint pain, sometimes when I sit or lay down, it is awful to stand up or walk. It is getting worse by the day and I see no end to it. Please pray for a miracle healing or for the chance for me to go home for a short time so I can get the needed procedures and such and then continue here when I get back. I am scared that one day, I will not be able to walk or do anything.
