It appears that we all have some sort of difficulty to bear, so it's a good thing that we pray for each other. I give thanks that God loves to hear our prayers. May God richly bless you and your families. In the meantime, SMILE and know that God loves us. We are children of the King of Kings, and our best times are still ahead.

Welcome, country woman. I've recently played some games with you as well.
I made it to church today for the first time in a month. I'm not a sports fan and neither is Tim, so no Super Bowl here. My older son likes sports, however.

Hubby is pleased with my recent interest in football again; in the past I only wanted to see the Super Bowl commercials

My hubby and I have enjoyed the football season very much...now NASCAR will be starting again this month...we have it on all the time when he is home...I do keep up with the drivers, but don't watch the races like I used to.

I thought car racing was very boring...until I saw earnhardt senior crash and die on the track...about 10 years ago now...that sport is very dangerous.
I have my favorite drivers...not cars or motor makes ETC.
The Ravens won their game...it made a very good ending for this season...I will be ready for the new one to begin in the fall.

Everyone sounds happy tonight...
I was invited to meet with some folks belonging to the church in the morning...they have a a bi-monthly breakfast and fellowship time here in town at a restaurant. It will depend on how I feel, I am very tired tonight...these people are very warm, friendly, sort of new to me to be with people after years of illness and isolation.
This sounds very low key and non-stressful...I might go...eventually.

Shirley, I hope you go and enjoy. With this speech impediment, I know about isolation. I'm blessed with a few friends, but there are times...
Don watched that race, too, Shirley, and I looked on and remember it well. Still, it just seems like a foolish risk to take. I know many people enjoy it. Don surely liked it, even better than baseball, I do believe. His 60th birthday would have been Wednesday, Feb 6, so he's been on my mind this past week.

Angelwind that sounds really good, I pray that all works out and you can enjoy fellowship, I will pray to the Lord for healing to give you strength, if you do get to go eventually let us know how you got on. 
I am moving on the 4th and the church is in the next road I am so looking forward to going, i can't drive so it's great that i will be able to walk there. I really need fellowship and friends as all my family disowned me when i became a christian, I especially miss my sister because we saw so much of each other, but the Lord provides. I feel more for my daughter because none of her cousins are aunts and uncle speak to her, she has lost faith although she did attend the Alpha course with me and really enjoyed it but she suddenly backed off and did not want to even talk about it, and has become very defensive, I have tried to be patient and just let her see my faith in action, and prayed to the Lord and left it in his hands. But it breaks my heart.
I think I took a double dose of levothyroxine yesterday by mistake,( the doctor has started me off on 50g), so I did not take one today, please pray that I will be ok. I will have to think of a better system to make sure I don't make a mistake.
