We went for our walk with Ms Penny, and are just relaxing now.
Nothing is planned for this weekend ~ I am bushed
Next week I will start putting out Christmas decorations for the First Sunday in Advent (Dec 2).
We just have a small tree that stays decorated, and some festive pieces for each room.
Have a lovely weekend ~ Be blessed

Be sure to pace yourself
We have 'downsized' our decorating over the years....in the past we cut and decorated a fresh tree and had more decorations in the house.
It just became too much with my illnesses, and hubby was working at the time.
This is 'just enough' to be festive; a snowman collection stays up to brighten darker winter days

Exactly, Bro. Dave.When the boys were growing up and hubby was alive and relatively well, we put up a huge artificial tree as well as window and outside lights. In recent years, I just have a table-top tree and a lighted wreath. I always have gifts for the boys, but this year they will be very slight as I've had to help them at various times during the year this year. Not that it's been much as I've no earned income.
They know I love them and do what I can. I don't expect to have a grandchild for several years and that's okay.

It is good to see you all chatting...we got home safely today...both of us are tired...enjoyed the kids very much. We most likely won't travel by MH again...gas just costs too much.
It is still fairly warm and dry...not holiday weather at all. My own bed will feel wonderful tonight.

Our two little dogs are spoiled and don't like extremes of heat or cold. So, it's back to the air-conditioner pretty quickly at times. They are true lap dogs and enjoy cuddling and petting more during cold weather. We're not complaining because that's exactly what we wanted when we got them. Hank and Lucy have a rough life.
