We are still closer to fall than we were this time last month...I can teel we have lost some daylight....yipeee!

I will walk Gracie after dark tonight...it will be sort of cooler then.

I have, only been taking Ramipril 1.25mg for the first month
so, I have no-experience re: side effects
I expect to learn more, from the clinic

Today is errand day, but we have been lazy all week and now they are calling for heat and humidity through the weekend again

Thankfully it has been a time of lights and graces, after a very long walk in the desert

My Ramipril has been upitrated ... I begin 2.5mg later this morning

Just lately, I have been having 'difficulty' keeping, a moist mouth and throat
and my cough [WHEN, I cough]
often leads to, retching and nausea, and even vomiting
If this is meds' related, or not, I will have it checked-out later today

I don't know whether or not we will see any further Summer here
those days, of one, two or, three day sprints of sunshine enable gardening 'here'
The most we have managed, is to mow lawns back and front, ONCE, this year

Good morning from Southwest Oklahoma. We got our little Hank and Lucy groomed yesterday, and they're prancing around - knowing that they deserve extra attention. So, we gave them extra attention.

I woke with a horrendous headache, so I slept in with ice on my head ; thankfully it has gone

I hope and pray that you get to feeling better. I used ice last night also for my head - allergies. We really need to get our air cleaned up with some rain.

I might need another camera to get pictures of our pups. They never stay still when we want pictures, so we get blurs. Maybe I can sneak up on them while they're asleep.

We also need rain, and I have felt my allergies more this summer, which is unusual for me once the trees leaf out!

We all must be on vacation this week.

Some "vacation"

oh I don't mean anything negative

I was assured, that things will balance out 'over-time'
I mentioned, that I have been 'forced' to slow-down
and that stairs, are again, very exhausting
and that naps, have become the order, of my days
I am passing fluids, that I must have consumed last week
I might just as well, leave the toilet door open wide

These symptoms will be increasingly obvious, once I begin beta-blockers on Monday
BUT.... this will make the heart work more efficiently
I just need to accept the slower pace

I am applying for a Blue Badge ... only available to the 'disabled'
Helps with parking the car ~nearer to destinations


We [Mary and I] had some 'fun' returning home this evening

We had taken a birthday card and a bottle of wine
around to our friend Gloria's home earlier in the evening
and sat chatting for a couple of hours with her and her husband 'Curtis'
But when we arrived at our front door @ 10pm
and opened the lock with the key, the door would not open
Within a moment or two, I realised that one of the dogs
had stood upon the lower mortise bolt handle
and, turned it just sufficient to place the bolt in the hole

Luckily, a neighbour had a nail-bar [aka: crowbar]
and without a splinter of wood falling
the door popped-open \o/

raise: for this overcoming, to Him who can, overcome everything

You have been in my thoughts and prayers Dave It is no fun adjusting to those meds!
When my thyroiditis was at it's peak and my heart was acting up, I was on the same regime as you for a short time.
Occasionally my diuretic/blood pressure meds causes trouble now; it can just exhaust me.
