Glad it's headed away from you. It seems like our nation has so many weather related problems any more. Fires. Floods. Tornados. Hurricanes. My heart breaks for people and their losses.

There were paramedics dispatched to my work place today and of course everything was in an uproar. Four hundred plus people and most of them scurrying back and forth trying to find out who the paramedics were looking for, made for quite a scene. But when a few of us saw the ambulance folks leaving, someone asked what had happened. The reply was that everything was ok, someone had just had a religious reaction to some medication.

Happy Wednesday to all

Penny just went off to her beauty appt with hubby so we will just do a few chores and relax today.
It is a 20 min drive one way, and the appt takes about 90 min, so the day is pretty interrupted.

It is very warm and humid and we expect more strong storms later (we had 2 hours of it at 5:30am); so we will play our walk by ear later today.

My sister has not answered her phone this week. This means she is likely not doing well and may be bed ridden again. I will get to see her in a couple weeks when I fly down to Halifax. Please include her in your prayers. She is a very good soul and I look up to her.

How is Rusty and the gang doing ?
I was telling hubby about him, when we saw a dog that looked like him on tv

I hope my 'little girl Penny' is behaving at the groomers
There are times when she just goes in circles as she is bathed and dried (not a fav activity for her)

Yes, as near as possible...perhaps the colours will burn in better [on Stoneware clay]
than the Buff clay, I used for the granddaughters name ornaments

Yes I may find some Dolly Accessories for those umbrellas
They would be too fragile, made, in clay

The 'guys' are great thanks

I hope Penny learns to submit and sit calmly throughout such procedures soon
It makes the task so-much easier and less stressful on dog and beautician

She is maturing, but still has the mindset and energy of a pup at times

Rusty is so-fast, he would easily be capable of catching a rat
Just a few months ago ~if, he managed to gain access to the rear garden
It would take many minutes driving him off [no-chance, of catching him]

Nowadays, he is responding to, direct commands "G E T __O F F / O U T!!!!"
and I would much sooner listen-to a decent bark, than I would
Rusty's incessant YAPPING



All is well.... He is much more responsive and, even to lower tones of voice
He just needed to become 'interested' in listening to us

The smaller breeds are so fast...running.... turning; it is crazy to see Penny in action sometimes LOL
Thankfully she is NOT a yapper, and she does respond pretty well when we ask her to get down from her perch on the porch, overlooking the road!
Hubby said the groomer mentioned now her thing is to flip onto her back when she is clipping her that is better than running in circles like she used to, I suppose!
Better her than me; I get tuckered out just brushing her (but even in that she is improving!)

*She must have behaved enough ~ she came home looking pretty, clean, and smelling sweet

I have enjoyed the chit chat here today...I am sort of out of "sorts"....got a headache from this heat....but the days are shorter....PTL!

We have had an opportunity to get another Pom....I was very excited at first, now not so sure...any thoughts? It may not even be available any more.

This would be a sibling of Gracie's, not from the same litter.

Does she have help or does she live alone? Must be alone, if no one answers the phone.
