"Chisel away the bad."
My Lord Jesus,
You are my Maker.
I picture You,
standing there beside me.
Thinking of new ways,
to change me in You.
You are ready to use Your chisel on me,
to take away every deadly part.
You will purge out,
every old leaven there are on me.
So that I can become a new lump,
just since I am unleavened.
Because You my Lord Jesus Christ,
our Passover have been sacrificed.
Much needs to get taken out,
and it isn't a pleasent process!
Yet it is all for my good in You,
it is part of making me more new in You!
I will be made all new in You!
It is a painful process,
since a lot of grown sinfulness will be weeded out.
The Spirit is willing,
but the flesh is weak.
The flesh wars against the Spirit,
this is why it is such a difficult process!
Yet in the end,
all will be shown as a work toward holiness.
The result of fruits given to us,
is a sign of growth in our given life of salvation in You!
