• CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

One my favorate song written by Chinese Christian

This song is written by a Chinese Christian named Ni Tuo-sheng(倪柝聲) , who was ever put into prison for his faith and dead in it in 1972. Hope you like it.

My Lord I am waiting for your coming

http://www.tudou.com/programs/view/jrn1RPAd7Q4/

or http://fc.5sing.com/7749518.html

this version is translated by me, sorry my English is not well enough.

My Lord I Am Waiting For Your Coming

My Lord I am waiting for your coming
For a very long time.
It seems my waiting will continue
Without ceasing.
I admire to see your face,
And hear your voice.
I hope to communicate with you
More closely than now.
Need I wait for several years again?
Then I will linger in my life,
Crying and missing you,
Till Lord you will come again.

Your congregation has waited for you
For too many ages,
From ancient time to now,
From centuries to centuries,
Being patient.
But you are still not coming.
I also have waited for you,
Since I was a Child
To now I am an elder.
Many of my friends when I was young
I can not see them again.
But you are still not coming.
Need I wait for several years again?
Then I will linger in my life,
Crying and missing you,
Till Lord you will come again.

I have waited very tiredly,
I beg you to remember me.
Great trials make me complaining,
And forget to devote myself.
So I beg you don’t delay any longer,
And come back soon.
I have been patient till today,
Indeed can not bear easily any more.
Need I wait for several years again?
Then I will linger in my life,
Crying and missing you,
Till Lord you will come again.

All of distressed and and pain of my heart
Can not stop for a short time,
And can not help anyone,
For you are not here with us.
Only when you come back,
And bring me to eternal heritage,
I will be satisfied in my heart.
Then I will forget all sufferings,
When I really see your face.
Need I wait for several years again?
Then I will linger in my life,
Crying and missing you,
Till Lord you will come again.

About Chinese Church:

I think a great number of Chinese Christians are not protestant or Catholic (especially in the countryside), their “God” is a combination of gods of China,Occident and the Bible. But there are still some Chinese Christians know and believe in the God of Abraham. Persecution exists, for China is not a country whose function of politics and religion is separated. From 1978 to 2008 , the numbers of Chinese Christians nearly increase 100 times in the leading of the Communist Party ,now about 70,000,000. It is really a miracle. Yeah G-d has done too much to China. I beg more Chinese to watch on the face of humble Yeshua Messiah(Christos) like the magis from the East(Matt.2:1) ,but I can not believe the whole Chinese race will be saved.

There are mainly two styles of Church in China now, less meet in church in the permission of the Government, more meet in family not legally. One can go to church to buy a Bible, for generally it is not necessary for him(her) to get a bible of the same version from abroad. But usually Bible can not be seen in bookmark. Yeah It is astonished that some Chinese Christians are very eager to read and understand Bible, looking It much more precious than their traditional cultures and else.

this web page is a flat to deal with the relationship between Chinese Christians and Middle East. http://www.melodyofmyheart.org/npoms/main.do?locale=en_US&page=Newmain

Do the Chinese Christians understand that a lot of what they read in the bible is written in parables? I study the meaning of the parables, so if you have any questions you would like to ask, then feel free to do so.

Friends,

Let's pray and do something for China. Tashie I am with you.

Bob

I have heard that many of the believers in China have attained a level of prayer where on a moment to moment basis they are guided and led by God.

I have reason to believe that some of us here in North America will soon find ourselves in a similar place where our very lives depend on being able to hear Rabbi Jesus/Yehoshua at this level as well????!!!!

In my experience not many.

In my experience ,generally, the level of faith of Chinese church is lower than US even lower than S. Korea and Taiwan. The relative close surounding makes many Chinese christians form their local opinion not from Bible. But individual level of someone may be in a high level.Ex. famous leaders named Wang2 Ming2Dao4(王明&#36947, John Song (宋尚節,song4 shang4 jie2), Ellen Yuan(袁相忱,yuan2 xiang4 chen2).

Thank you for this update Yusuphhai! I find your words encouraging because I am certain that a major outpouring is coming to China.

Thank you also for letting me know that Shanghai is the city in China that is especially vulnerable to rising ocean levels. Considering that the city is mostly about 4 meters above sea level, and has a population of 23 million people, this city could be one of the areas of the world that champion the alternative theory on combatting climate change through investing in turning deserts green such as was done through a Norwegian group in the Sahara Forest Project.

Turn deserts green to stabilize climate, Isaiah was right!

The two fastest-growing segments of the population in the world accepting Christ are China and Africa. At this point, central & south Africa are probably more Christian than North America. It wouldn't surprise me if China has more Christians than the U.S., before long.

Biggest obstacle I see right now is a lack of Christian "stuff" written in Chinese. There is a reliance on English for a lot of "stuff" like Christian books, songs, missionaries, etc., and it's pushing the perception that Christianity is a western religion, when it's not. It started in the Middle East.

I deeply appreciate these statistics usexpat97!

I believe you are right that China will soon have more Christians than the USA does. The revival that has happened in South Korea is astonishing!

IMO the greatest Christian need in China is for good pastors and teachers. The Chinese Church is doing an amazing job at evangelism, but it is really difficult to find equipped pastors and teachers. Most of the church in China is female because men, to have a job, work seven days a week and, therefore, cannot meet with the church on Sunday mornings. If a man does become a pastor he is forced to live by faith on the support of the church. The Chinese believers are not wealthy as a rule and can do little to support a pastor financially. As a result men have difficulty finding wives who are willing to endure hardship with them. Most of the pastors, as a result, are women, which creates an entirely different set of issues.

Being born in Australia, I feel lucky that I am able to be a Christian without persecution but also my other identity is that I am Chinese as well. I feel for those people who cannot openly worship God in China, and the dangers they face and as China is mostly an atheist country, I hope that one day more people are able to accept God in their lives.

China aid reports ongoing current and severe persecution of christians in china. I just wrote 5 letters to people who are in prison in china just because tbey are christians. This is basic human rights violations. you are right and probably called by God to have a burden for them. keep praying and loving them.

famous Chinese christian:

I am reading the books of John Sung and Wang Mingdao . I think they can represent Chinese church. If I am not a patient of Depression I can learn from them more.

more:

Wang Zhiming:

Allen Yuan:

I have met Allen Yuan in Beijing when he was alive, he and his family and the church in his house was really a blessing. the only thing i can do is just to pray for the persecuted.

I used to be a Chinese Catholic, and during my period of faith, I was such a strong believer.

It was not the state's persecution of Catholics which led to my atheism, persecution only strengthened my faith. Ultimately I realised that religion simply exists to provide human beings with a sense of comfort in the face of suffering. The fact that religiosity declines as incomes and qualities of life increase is no coincidence.

I still respect most parts of religion, but it is no longer for me.

When I was young, I could hardly trust I would believe in monotheism. It was very hard to me to convert from Atheism to monotheism, but I have done. Maybe I need go back to the faith of my ancestor Abraham and the salvation from Yeshua the Messiah of Jewish and the whole world.

I dream the freedom of religion and non-religion in China, that none is compelled to believe in religion or non-religion.
