So what's the question? Or topic to discuss. "China" is pretty vague. Just anything China? How does that relate to denomination specific theology?

Actually, it seems to have nothing at all to do with Christianity, much less denomination-specific Christianity. Others, who apparently are disinterested in this new thread, were busy derailing the other thread on the topic of relative progress in the Chinese economy.

There were six other equally well-known Chinese Christian authors in China in the early twentieth century, but the government of China has done its best to expunge any of their writings or even knowledge of the existence. It is quite illegal in China today to possess the writings of any of these seven Christians (including Ni To Sheng (Watchman Nee).

Good question, indeed. Apparently the other folks on the thread have no interest in discussing China, but seem to enjoy derailing threads. Oh well.

I am curious. Do you have an opinion about whether or not China is going to be one of the "Kings of the East" from the Revelation who march into the Holy Land?

I think it quite possible based on Revelation 9:16

13 Then the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, 14 one saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.” 15 And the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were released, so that they would kill a third of mankind. 16 The number of the armies of the horsemen was two hundred million; I heard the number of them.

At this point in time there are only two nations to the east which have the capability of fending an army of 200 million - India and China. Of the two China is the only that actually has approximately 200 million men in its army, although the Chinese army is not like our own army in that it includes anyone engaged in law enforcement such as local policemen as well as those engaged in national defence.

I agree completely.

It seems to me that this really answers the question of a Pre-MID-or POST Rapture/Resurrection.

When the Rapture removes the Real Church, there will be IMO a great ecumenical movement of all the "Religious" and non-believers left behind.

These groups, make believers, Hindus, Muslims', aththesists(Chinese) will come together and form a great army which will move across the Far East and into Israel and meet at Armageddon.

IMO it is the PRE Tribulation Rapture is the only one that answers all the Bible prophesies.

I have also found the Chinese people to be extremely gracious and generous.

Agreed. My sons mother in law is exactly like that. However, she is a Buddhist which has its own set of problems, the most important being that there is no salvation possible to those who remain in it.

once read in a book that Mary, Mother of Jesus said to "pray for China"
believe this was in an appearance
makes me wonder why China & not other countries

Allow me to help you with that.

Mary never said that. There is no Biblical record of such a thing being said.

Nevertheless, it hasn't stopped this tidbit from entering the vast body of Marian theology which continues to grow in the Catholic Church. The next tidbit will be when Mary is identified with the Chinese Buddhist goddess of mercy, Guan Yin.

definitely are more financially well off people in China especially factory owners
one factory owner even told husband he's considering just giving the factory to his employees when he retires

That is amazing! Typically, as you probably know, the inheritance goes to the oldest son who also has the responsibility, along with his wife, of caring for his parents in their old age. However, with the one-child policy enforced (partially, according to various regulations and rules) many couples do not have a son to care for them in their old age.

However, ownership of a factory was unheard-of under Mao and the net result was poverty and starvation for virtually everyone outside the Communist party. The Chinese people are very grateful to Deng and his major shift to private ownership.
