Children accused of witchcraft

Well I have just watched a programme of children being accused of witchcraft and being devils.....so sad to see these children in Nigeria, Africia.....their parents dumping them....their bodies punished....and their minds hurting.

The progamme was on four corners .....and the people saying these things about these children are supposes christian leaders...in the pentecostal movement.

The story had a happy ending in that the fellow (Stepping Stones Nigeria) assisting these children went to the governor and pleaded their case....he was heard and now a law is in place to forbid this practice.

My question is why does God allow this sort of thing to happen to children.....is it a matter of a curse to the third an fourth generation to those who hate Him.

I don't think this is something that God "allows"... the people responsible for such acts will be judged when their time comes.
Cruel acts like this are the result of human free will, fear and ignorance. God loves His children and doesn't punish them. Suffering is the caused by sin at the human level.

Sorry I haven't logged in for awhile. but wow, you said..."For thousands of years He deals with wayward man....each and every one of them." You almost answered all your own questions. Should the phrase, "each and every one of them," refer to the "thousands of years" you mention, you would have. I know this is far from commercial church teaching, so I will not elaborate very much. But the way I understand all of scripture is founded on the premise of the Ancient of days, which is that God governs man only according to His touch once every thousand years, which is to say once every day, as in the days of creation, but also according to the premise that "a day is to God as a thousand years (and by the matrimonial vows of God for each day, as listed in the book of Hosea)." I know Paul (the most misunderstood writer in scripture) certainly allows for the shallow rooted to find much different ideas about this, and for very good reason, according to the needs of the shallow minded), but like I said, again, I will not elaborate any further because doing so publicly only begins to contend with the weak of heart on other grounds, and there is no call for that here.

AS an exorcist, I have seen all sorts of terrible things done by withcraft that could be instantly resolved by casting out the demons. You see, witchcraft is the perfect crime; there's no evidence or witnesses connecting the perpetrator with the scene of the crime. Witches can actually get away with murder most of the time.

For those Christians who don't know their authority in Christ and for unbelievers, they have to go by suspicion to catch the perpetrator. They may have to outlaw witchcraft. But witchcraft can be done in secret and in private. It may take suspicion and scanty circumstantial evidence to convict someone.

Mature Christians know we are not to judge anyone outside the church. But we can drive off the demonic influence from the city and everyone in it. We can divinely bless everyone in the city. Thus the people are divinely influenced and will be favorably inclined to accepting Jesus as their Lord & savior. This will bring peace to the whole city.

Satan will use all his wisdom to corrupt and destroy the righteousness in the city to bring it under his destructive sway. We need to be vigilant to defend the freedom in Christ that we have attained to.

Believing in witchcraft as medieval mythology has portrayed it is the whole problem here. And anyone who thinks he can reckon with it by some kind of mystic charm is a BONAFIDE NUTCASE !!

Praying and calling upon the Name of the Lord to help you and save you from Satan is the best thing. When we ask God and his Son Jesus Christ to save us from Satan's power, of course he will respond and send the devil fleeing.

Any Christian will be tormented by the world, even children. It is the age old battle of evil verses good. The battle between satan and God. It is always sad to see innocent children get punished or tormented for being a Christian, but it is part of the tests and trials of being a Christian even when the child doesn't understand it, there are other Christians who will stand up for the Children and their good deeds are seen by God for doing so. Growing up I have been beaten up, ridiculed, harassed, and the list goes on for being a Christian and being seen as weak for being a Christian. However, once that I was an adult, things changed quickly as few would even try to do such a thing. I held on, I kept the Faith and I fought the good fight and I will do so till the end. Yes, it is up to the parents or other adult Christians to defend the innocent Christians and innocent Children for they cannot defend themselves. The battles will continue throughout our lives. That is why we must always be on guard and defend the children and other Christians who cannot defend themselves. God lets everyone choose their own path in life, for even those who do not choose God, and so the battle continues between Christians and non-Christians. Till the end of this world. God Bless.

I also watched this on TV. This is really a shame and to think that these people actually think that they are Christians. This is all happening because of a false prophet I forget her name, but she was the one who make a video telling people that the children were to blame for all their misfortunes. I pray that there would be a end to their suffering soon.

Except human misery caused by natural disasters.
