  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!, Garfield and Friends, etc

Those shows have all held up pretty well.

Yeah, the (late 8os) Garfield series was pretty good.. Do u remember, Garfield series split time with US Acres, which was another Jim Davis comic strip (set on a farm). Hardly ever hear about Acres anymore, but Garfield has stayed iconic.
I'm surprised this thread didn't get more traffic. Saturday cartoons were a huge part of American childhood(s) until maybe 20 years ago... when cartoons became virtually available 24/7 on cable networks.

I loved the Disney cartoons of the 80s, even if they were a bit before my time! Ducktales, Tailspin, Darkwing Duck, Goof Troop - that whole lineup was great. I also liked the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, which came on Toon Disney as well.

Then there was Rugrats, Doug, the Magic School Bus, Arthur, Pokemon, and when I was a tiny little thing I also watched My Little Pony Tales. To this day I do like cartoons, though there are very few newer ones that I enjoy watching.

Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog

Child of, I was a little older for Sonic, but I liked it too.
There was a cool video game cartoon in the late 8os, Captain N: the Game Master.
A Southern California kid is sucked in to a video game universe, populated with Nintendo (NES) characters..

Haha, I never watched that show, but I've heard a lot about it due to its, as they call it, "cult following." I actually own a couple of original animation cells from it, which I won in a raffle. I find it hilarious due to its unique take on characters from old NES games! Fun stuff.

That's very cool.
One of my favorite characters from the series was a villain (Eggplant Wizard).
Hope u have a good Christmas; I'm up early with my eager family..

You like the same cartoons I liked .I love Talespin. I had a super crush on Don Karnage. I also used to watch the Transformers, Gobots, and G. I. Joe with my brothers.
