I'm sure a lot of people have been saved by Jack Chick's tracts and if we knew the number of people exactly, I'm sure we'd all be amazed, so thank God for Jack Chick.

1.) Alberto Rivera is a liar and a con-artist.
2.) All of Chick's Catholic tracts have a basis from a work called The Two Babylon's which has been proven to be mostly fantasy made from conjecture and unverified sources. Hence, all such tracts read like bad gothic novellas.
3.) If one is trying to convince someone of group A to leave group A and join group B (Chick's group) then they had better not misrepresent the beliefs of group A to those who are in group A and really know what group A believes, otherwise group B looses serious credibility.
4.) Tracts such as Dark Dungeons are laughable and have a basis in urban legends, not in truth.
5.) Easy believism is false.

Agreed on points 2, 3 and 4. I have no clue who Alberto Rivera is, and don't know why it would it be expected that we would know. And, like No Swansong, I'm curious what you mean by "easy believism".

Now I agree with this. Scripture does teach about true and false conversion: the wheat and tares (Matthew 13:24-30), the wise virgins and the foolish virgins (Matthew 25:1-13), the sheep and goats (Matthew 25:31-46), the dragnet (Matthew 13:47-51), and the sower (Mark 4:3-8).

While I don't believe any of Chick's anti-Catholic, anti-roleplaying or anti-rock music stuff, and consider it all somewhere in the vile (at worst) to silly (at best) spectrum, that doesn't mean some of his work isn't worthwhile. I remember reading some Chick tracts that I thought were actually pretty good.

Without knowing Jack Chick I cannot nor would I attempt to refute your accusation here, but you will have to excuse us for not taking the word of a random internet poster who makes what appears to be an unfounded accusation and then even before asked indicates they have no intention of providing any substantiation for the claim.

I have issues with some of the things Jack Chick publishes but making accusations that you refuse to defend is uncharitable at best and false witness at worse.

With all due respect, we have no reason to believe what you say. Making accusations against a brother without providing evidence (i.e. the testimony of two witnesses) lacks credibility, and is not the Biblical approach.

Jack Chick, a fraud? I'm not so sure about that one. There are a lot of tracts written by Jack Chick that I really like, and he writes in such a way that keeps people reading.

What I do observe is that Mr. Chick does seem to have convictions that are much more strict than the average Christian (such as King James Only and anti-contemporary music), and these views have come out in a few of his tracts, as though they are important to one's salvation (and this mindset comes off to me as a little "legalistic" rather than fundamental). It's fine to have special convictions, but also remembering that those convictions are not for everyone.

Sister, I don't want to seem like I'm trying to start a debate, but Jack Chick believes Salvation is by Faith alone in Jesus Christ. He believes as a Christian we should not read the new versions nor listen to music with the world's beat in it. Those things do not keep you saved, but will help you grow as a Christian.

That's my point, did you not notice the question mark? You seemed to imply that Jack Chick teaching that salvation is by faith is erroneous. It was that implication I was questioning.
