I've read a lot of these tracts. Presonally, I think they are telling the truth. But what do ou think about them?

nice tract
Jack Chick's tracts have positive and negative characteristics. Here are my observations.
Positive traits:
Negative traits:
- He warns people about the reality of hell, and the fact that people who practice false religions (including atheism) are going there
- He opposes the <staff edit> Catholic Church
- He believes in the authority of Scripture
- He asks people to recognize their sin and confess Jesus Christ as Lord -- probably the most important point
So I observe that there are good things about Chick tracts. Then again, the best lies are mostly true. My best judgment is that Jack Chick is a right spirited but ultmately misguided believer who hasn't exercised good judgment when making his materials. I can't think of any cases where I could use a Chick tract in good conscience.
- He believes in the <staff edit> King James Only doctrine
- He makes false claims about the Catholic Church <staff edit>
- He does not treat the matters of sin and judgment with the weight that they deserve; as has already been stated, some of the comics are almost...well, comical
I've read some of them and I wonder where he got all those conspiracy theories from, there's a lot of false information there not based on fact. I'm saying this as someone who looked into the information and did some research.
Yes I agree. If I recall correctly, I think Jack Chick charges the Catholic Church with participating in the holocaust.
I would be remiss if I did not humbly express my agreement with him that the Catholic Church (of which I understand you count yourself a member) is apostate from Christ. But no Christian ought to support the propagation of truth by means of false information.
As a kid I enjoyed them. Not a popular view. But still I liked them. They were part of the reason why I came to Christ. The comic, Somebody Loves Me, had a significant impact.
OF all the tracts, only Somebody Loves Me touched my heart deeply.
