who here likes Chevelle? i saw them the other night, they rocked!!!

I hear some say they arent Christians, but they proclaim to be Catholic, i personally am 50/50 on that, only God knows their hearts.

I ,for one, have been a fan of Chevelle since their Point #1 CD. That CD was released under a Chrisitan label and available through places like Sound and Spirit etc... Their new CD however was released without the label. I was not sure what to make of this. I know that their song "The Red" got way more airtime on secular radio stations because of the lack of a label. I persoanlly like their music a lot, and I also am 50/50 on their religous devotion. Reading some of their lyrics leads me to believe they are devoted, but most songs are typical rock-oriented songs like Mia (about his GF) etc.. But they do rock!!

Didn't know they were Christian, but i was wondering
Evanessence I liked when I heard them and was pleased to find they were Christian, cept now they have covered that up since their fame struck, and 12Stones are great too.

I love Chevelle! I had no idea they were Catholic! I also like Evanescence, Creed, and 12 Stones.

I really like Chevelle, but I'm not sure about their faith. I've heard they were christian. But if they are Christian, then they don't go to any hardship to point that out, but no, I like them.

aren't they playing on ozzfest right now?
not that means anything, a lot of christian bands play with some real nasty bands
anyways i heard that they were a christian band for point #1, but they are no longer one on wonder whats next, like what jus8042 said
