I hope I am not out of line in posting here.

Hi everyone! Not military, but relocating to a military base. Hubby works for Textron and they are moving him to Cherry Point, NC for contract work. We are in DFW Metroplex now and we are moving in two weeks. Wow, huh?

I need to know what's available for rent down there, what the best spot to live is, etc, etc. I figured military would know best...since it is a military base! Thanks y'all!

You might want to try a web site called military.com, they have a forum for people in the military that you might be able to ask your question in. Look for the forum under the menu "community".
