  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I need all the prayers I can possibly get. :prayer:

Why? Chemistry is about to blow my brains out. Haha! :D

This class is like the chemistry class from down under. We have to take a separate online course and achieve a certain score just to show we're cutout to take it. The tests for the actual course are several hours long, worth huge chunks of our grade, and all written response (no multiple choice.) At the end of the semester, the instructor usually has to double curve grades otherwise the vast majority of the class would fail. Around 20% drop out before the end of the semester and people even switch majors because of this class.

I'm working ahead and pouring every ounce of energy into this course (as in several hours a day.) It's terribly depressing because I just want to go outside and enjoy the nice weather (I'm not looking forward to the cold, so I'm trying to soak up every bit of summer.) In a few days, my life will be pretty much consumed with my other classes and work. It's just going to be a rough semester. After this upcoming semester, I only have two more (I'm graduating early) and the last two will be all downhill. THANK THE LORD! <3 :D

Until then, SWEET BABY JESUS, HELP ME SURVIVE CHEMISTRY! :crossrc: :prayer: :crosseo: :amen:

Anyone else taking a chemistry course or other really difficult courses this semester?

Two months later... did it?

I took chemistry and spent 3-5 times more on the course than my other courses. It changed where my career plans were heading. Interesting stuff but oh my, there's so little familiarity to grab onto.
