They're up in the music section of the site http://www.lugosi.cjb.net

We've uploaded 2 tracks. Delicate and Addressed To You. They were all self recorded and mixed, and mastered by Fergal Davis. We put alot of time and effort into the tracks, and refused to settle for second best, and we're all happy with the outcome.

The demo wont be available on CD for a long time yet, but when it is, you'll know.

Looking forward to hearing the reviews.

Cheers,
peter on behalf of lugosi

I've listened over a period of days, to try and give some meaningful feedback. Its not my style, but it is well done. I agree with the comments on the mix though, it could use improvement imho. I find the snare drum miking to be lacking, perhaps its a matter of eq, but I don't think so. In addition the EQ is such that the bass lacks definition and punch. Its almost like a feed off a live performance in a large venue, rather than a studio. There is some good drive though, and musically it seems to hold its own very well, except for the ending. It catches me a little off guard. It is sort of abrupt and unresolved. That may be more to do with my personal opinions of music than the art you are trying to create though.

One comment on the vocal section. It appears the support on the longer notes is falling off. It may be a simple matter of vocal training or it may be part of the music style you are trying to portray. Again, I'm a little out of my element.

I wish you the very best
Ron
