My history professor gives us a sample quiz each week that has questions for the weekly quiz. We're supposed to read the chapter and answer the questions. The thing is, the exact same questions are online. I get the feeling that I'm cheating by using these online answers rather than reading. Am I cheating?

lol, if the exact same questions are on-line, then either A. He needs to change his quizzes for once because people have figured them out, orB. He's put them up there for a reason for people to find them and use them, acting as sort of an ingenuity test or something. I don't know the situation really, as I don't know what it means by "they are on-line". A school site? A site made by students who figured it our or posted up their tests? What?

I know that in some schools, like mine, it is common practice for old tests to be put up so a person can see how a professor tests because the ammount of knowledge we go through is quite alot, dense, and advanced (graduate level in molecular biology, go figure).

If it's some place were students have posted up their old exams.. then I think you need to ignore it and read things yourself as knowledge is always beneficial.

Yes. You are cheating yourself out of an education.
I was going to reply, but this is what I was going to say lol.
I hated school with a passion, and I cheated on many of my tests (there was no internet).
Holy's right, I cheated MYSELF out of a real education. I've had to self educate myself later in life so I wasn't so stupid. I was embarrassed.
I highly suggest LEARNING & not being lazy w/ education. It's very important and will be more important later in life!!
If I had it to do over again, I'd of worked very hard in school & completely changed my priorities. :sigh:

There's a new Tv quiz show that's coming out - challenging adults w/ 5th graders to see who's smarter, I plan to watch that lol :tutu: ^_^

my parents always told me to never cheat while writing tests. i later found out i was pretty much the only one doing that. and even worse, in uni and later at the job, its just the same. the scum rises to the top.

i think you have been blessed to not have to study so hard, now you have more time for the lord, the master teacher :)
