When the kids were little and they got out of school because of the snow, I'd tell them I use to have to walk to school in the snow. They are like ugh

yes, we had to walk in the snow too.

It won't be to bad this week, highs in the 50's all week

We went skiing and skating. Winters were fun when we were kids. Always something fun to do.

I remember walking to school one morning, we decided to stop and make snow angels in someone's front yard. My father happened to drive by and see us and we got in trouble.

We would go sledding some. I only tried ice skating once. Most of the time we would just slide across ice with our shoes on

'93 we had a big snow here 10 inches, I was out sledding with the kids, I had this pan I was using and the kids were fighting me over it. LOL Cause I was beating them.. LOL

This was back before they started busing kids to school and you just went to your neighborhood school. Boy I'm old

I thought I had seen something about that on TV about a winter storm covering a large portion of the U.S.

There is no such thing as old.

Last major thing was an ice storm in '98 christmas week. Since then we've only had a few light dustings of snow.
