Chaos to Peace
Christian T.
What madness this world has become:
Suicides, murders, guns, knives, and scars.
It's impossible to fathom the hate so commonplace.
This world needs a cure; salvation from its grave.
People's lives rest in God's hands,
But many feel so dismayed.
In our depraved, we think all hope is lost;
In time of need we leave the Healer be.
We see no worth; all pain is in vain.
To cope, most hope and think it away.
Perhaps for another time, much later;
But to who's mind first comes prayer?
Yes, I preach to you today
The Word of God, which leads the way.
It guides to joy, and answers our questions
Because it's about God and his many actions.
Based on the past, and all that He's done,
Our God's not dead, and he surely isn't done!
He has a plan, which He works anyway,
For a future of hope, joy, peace, and love.
His work is never ended, nor shall it be ever,
For as a Sustainer, his role lasts forever.
As the Creator, he fulfills our needs and wants.
So in pain and sadness, remember the name of gladness:
The promise of life, The: Jesus Christ.
