Changing The World



When I was a young man, I wanted to change the world. I found it was difficult to change the world, so I tried to change my nation. When I found I couldn't change the nation, I began to focus on my town. I couldn't change the town and as an older man, I tried to change my family.



Now, as an old man, I realize the only thing I can change is myself, and suddenly I realize that if long ago I had changed myself, I could have made an impact on my family. My family and I could have made an impact on our town. Their impact could have changed the nation and I could indeed have changed the world.



So live each day as though you were walking with Jesus. Our future will be better for it and you WILL make a difference.

This is so true...but then Moses was 80 when he finally was sent on God's mission...in God's way...by God's Spirit. (It ain't over till it's over)

The righteous shall flourish, like a palm tree, He sahll grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

Those who are planted in the house of the Lord Shall flourish in the courts of our God.

They shall still bear fruit in old age;

They shall be fresh and flourishing,

To declare that the Lord is upright; He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him. Psalm 92:12-15
