Hey people. I just wanted 2 express myself on religion and being non-denominational. See, I'm a catholic. And I'm only a catholic because my parents are catholics. My sister is non-denominational after going 2 catholic schools and college all her life, only cuz my mom wanted her too. But me, I claim catholicism, but in my heart I believe I'm non-denominational, because all the catholic rules and laws and stuff isn't working for me. And all those Christianity divisions and wat not are just no need for and are garbage. So, I'm only catholic by words until I'm 21, then I'm non-denominational all the way. But yea, I just wanted 2 express that here. Thanx every1 for ur time and ears.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

What religion u claim isn't the issue. Do you have a relationship with God by being born again, is the issue. We can only come to God thru His Son, not a church.

i feel the same way Scorpio, i'm a catholic because well my parents are and it grew up with me. But as I grew older and started to read the bible and look at the catholic church I started to scratch my head. The teachings fo pope, prayer to mary etc doesnt ring a bell with scripture and Jesus's teachings
