• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The watchman of the old testiment has become the temple of the new testiment. Hearing the sounding bell he runs to tell his brothers. The dead are no longer lost in their fate. Justified they also have become glorified. No longer is he of the people of a nation, he is now the son of a king. Ringing true his Master's words. Set aside as holy by the One who loves him, the watchman temple wills only to listen for His voice to do His bidding. Repented, saved, justified, redeemed, sanctified and consecrated as the new heir of the King of all that is.

Galatians
1:15 But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s
womb, and called me by his grace,
1:16 To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the
heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:
1:17 Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before
me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus.
1:18 Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and
abode with him fifteen days.
1:19 But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the Lord’s
brother.
1:20 Now the things which I write unto you, behold, before God, I lie
not.
1:21 Afterwards I came into the regions of Syria and Cilicia;
1:22 And was unknown by face unto the churches of Judaea which were
in Christ:
1:23 But they had heard only, That he which persecuted us in times
past now preacheth the faith which once he destroyed.
1:24 And they glorified God in me.

Blessings from EleloheIsrael
And he bought a parcel of a field, where he had spread his tent, at the hand of the children of Hamor, Shechem's father, for an hundred pieces of money.
And he erected there an altar, and called it EleloheIsrael.
- Genesis 33:19,20

1. Reward for our work
The LORD recompense thy work, and a full reward be given thee of the LORD God of Israel, under whose wings thou art come to trust.
- Ruth 2:12

2. Strength for the whole man
O God, thou art terrible out of thy holy places: the God of Israel is he that giveth strength and power unto his people. Blessed be God.
- Psalm 68:35

3. Answer for our problems
When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue faileth for thirst, I the LORD will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them.
- Isaiah 41:17

God's people.

I Thess
1:1 Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the
Thessalonians which is in God the Father and in the Lord Jesus
Christ: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and
the Lord Jesus Christ.
1:2 We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you
in our prayers;
1:3 Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labor of love,
and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God
and our Father;
1:4 Knowing, brethren beloved, your election of God.
1:5 For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power,
and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what
manner of men we were among you for your sake.
1:6 And ye became followers of us, and of the Lord, having received
the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Ghost.
1:7 So that ye were ensamples to all that believe in Macedonia and
Achaia.
1:8 For from you sounded out the word of the Lord not only in
Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith to
God-ward is spread abroad; so that we need not to speak any
thing.
1:9 For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had
unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living
and true God;
1:10 And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the
dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.

1.An Elect people. I Thess 1;4

2.An Exemplary people. I Thess 1:7

3.An Enthusiastic people. I Thess 1:9

4.An Expectant people. I Thess 1:10
