Just so staff know - I changed the IM icons under the username in posts from dynamic to static icons - they dynamic icons were slowing down our image server too much.
I hope it's not too inconvenient.

Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. dynamic means they had the animation, i think.
sounds good. increasing speed is always nice. i know what it's like to run a 56k, and that was on forums not nearly as large as cf.
edit: aww, actually, can you keep the same icons as before? i like the looks of those better. just without the animation?

Nope, I'm perfectly fine with it. It's not an inconvenience at all. In fact, I'm glad. I always had problems with the dynamic icons not loading. For those who don't know, a dynamic icon is an animated icon. A static icon is a non-animated icon.
