With Christmas coming, I'd like to challenge all the fab 40's on CF to do a couple of things this year.

First, if you're able, support at least one child from the Angel Tree or one of the other gift donation programs. There's also one called 'Star of Hope' (I think) which is geared more towards adults or senior citizens. They're often looking for things like vacuums, or cookware.

Second, when you buy your Christmas cards, send a card or two to a local VA hospital or nursing home to 'Any Patient' or 'Any Resident'.

Finally, again if you're able, sponsor a child through Compassion International, Christian Children's Fund, India Gospel League, or some other similar organization.

Let's show God's love to people in need.

Good idea! You can make your dollar go further there by going to someplace like Aldi.
