Chad Kroeger-Nickleback

i used to hate this band but i'm starting to like them. anyone think chad kroeger has a strange voice though? any song he does i can guess it's him. nobody sounds like him!

Nickleback themselves are nothing more than generic rock. Couple chords here and there and [SIZE=-1]Voilà[/SIZE]! a song.

I don't like Nickelback mostly because of Chad Kroeger's voice. It's hard to pinpoint exactly what annoys me about it, though. The only song by them that I semi-enjoy is "Far Away."

Even after seven years I still vastly prefer "Breathe" and "Leader Of Men" to any of their later output. Especially since neither of them sound much like the songs that they keep copying sonically over and over again.

I agree Christine for the most part although there isn't any song they do I'll tolerate.

I like their hard driving songs - Figured You Out, Animals, and Too Bad are great rock songs. You can keep the softer, 'wimpy' stuff

Their songs are pretty dumb too. All follow the same formula.

And some people, like me, like that formula Just as I like most, not all, songs by bands such as Offspring or Green Day. If a band has a 'sound' you like, then you like most of what they do.

I actually really like his voice! I didn't know most people didn't.
