CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Unfortunatly I dont like the song. The beastie boys however used to be really great. I cant say that I am a huge fan of their newer stuff.

With that song, the beasties put themselves into the "dying an undignified loser band death" category. Some of their early stuff was pretty good, but now they're just stoopid.

first time i heard that song, i fell out of my chair laughing. lol.
I said it before and I'll say it again. I lost alot of respect for the BBoys after they failed to make any attempt to raise money for the September 11th relief funds. They have been doing the Tibet thing for years now, and I completely respect that. But where were they for all the fund raising shows? You'd think 3 guys that are that active in world efforts would make an attempt to help their own country. And the three of them are from New York.
