CF Singles Awards - Discussion Thread

Well CFers, it's that time again to hold the CF Singles Awards. This time around for the new year, it will be called CF Singles Awards Third Edition.
For those who are new, and are thinking "What in the world?" I will explain the history of CF Singles Awards. I felt one day like it would be a fun idea to have an Awards Show for the Singles. There were categories made, a fresh new thread, awards given out, and papparazzi glare!

First I make the discussion thread (this here thread.) and we discuss a few things Award related, we switch around some of the categories if need be. I then set a date for the awards, and while the days pass I make up pretty awards for each 1st place winner. 2nd, 3rd and 4th places get blessings.

For these awards I'm setting a limit of categories to 30. I felt that last time the categories list got a bit out of hand, it was at 52 and it was hard for me to keep up with. 30 I feel is a manageable limit, and enough to have a well rounded category.

You can only vote for a person 5 times in the categories.

Also, Mydnyte will be helping me with the awards this year.

I will post the list of last times categories, so everyone can take a looksie and give me suggestions on them. Whether to take them out, have a idea for a new one, etc.

I will also list the recent user list, and also a "use to be recent list", because the recent user list has changed dramatically since the last time, and I know some of y'all remember (and use) a lot of the old members of CF in the Awards voting.

Also, if you dont see your name on the list, please PM me or tell me in the thread and I'll add ya ASAP.
And as usual, these Awards are meant to be fun and light hearted. If you do not want to be included in the voting (i.e. you dont want me PMing you with the categories list) please let me know.

I was just thinking this. It can't have been four months already! I can remember the day of the last awards and thinking that i had lots to get done...and I still haven't done some of those things

There are a list of categories, and then we all fill out a form and nominate certain CF'ers who best fit. Then Jennie will count 'em up and figure out who won 1st 2nd 3rd and runner ups for each category by how many times each person was nominated.

On the night of the awards she reveals the results and gives the winners an awesome picture award

I edited my post showing the recent user list, and the non recent user list, and the categories from last time as a reminder to everyone.

If you dont see yourself on the recent user list, please let me know. I know we have some newbies that i possibly missed so I'll try to get everyone added.

The ones on the non recent user list are ones who dont come here anymore, or havent been here in the last 2 months.
