Illuminatus said:Not to be facetious, but that takes five clicks in IE and Firefox. That's assuming that the options menu isn't locked down. If it is (hardly uncommon), then you're out of luck.
I think that's a stretch. I see that there are 1 158 members on line right now. I could be wrong, but I doubt that the majority of them fear the staff.reformedfan said:no, one couls safely deduce that they fear complaining, given the sheer number of thread deletes & warnings given to people who protest injustice in a thread.
Tastes Like Future said:whatever. you just keep assuming that everyone is as smart and receptive to computers as you. that's fine. not everyone can remember everything and be as perfect with computers. Sorry the person didn't log out.
I'ddie4him said:Not true. A direct violation of a rule and an assertion of such are 2 different matters. Warnings are not issued based on assertions, They are based on fact.
reformedfan said:this thread attracts more people in favor of moderating of the mods then detractors to this dandy principle. It would appear YOU are in the vocal minority.

This is an announcement thread, where Erwin has announced changes to CF and the appeals process.
There may be better places to discuss the deficiencies of Firefox and IE regarding the ease of clearing cookies, techniques for logging out, and user security. The "report Bugs" forum is such a place.
Please remain on topic, so that this thread can remain open and garner as much valuable feedback as possible.
(taking that scratchy straw hat off now)
I'ddie4him said:Or maybe this is the majority of posters that don't have a problem cause they don't violate the rules ??
No one can safely deduce anything. It is all speculation.
I know many people here that have been here since CF started and have never gotten a edit request or anything. It all depends on how the member wants to post.
