Greetings, to the Higher-Powers of the Forum! I love the forum, and am SO thankful to have found it! You guys have honestly done a GREAT job maintaining this massive site, while providing a wonderful service for bringing glory to our God!

However, I was wondering, is there a place where a member can make a suggestion concerning a site improvement? I can't seem to find one. It concerns subscribing to threads. I don't really understand why when someone subscribes to a thread, with instant email notifications, that member will ONLY get an email notification for the post RIGHT AFTER "their" post, then the instant notifications automatically turns OFF, (even though you are still subscribed to the thread), only to turn back on IF they post again. Automatically turning off notifications to a subscribed thread until they post again just doesn't make sense to me, for I have an interest in the WHOLE thread subject, not just the single person who wants to reply to my post alone. Anyway, I just think there should be an added option put into the subscribing to threads box...which is to be notified of just the "next" post, or "all" posts.

Anyway, just my 2-cents.

I forgot to point out, that YES, the little icons next to each subscribed thread ARE useful in determining a new post, I just prefer the instant emails is all. So take my suggestion with a grain of salt, for it is a very light suggestion. After all, I'm just a newbie kickin' a rusty ol' tin can down an unamed street in Newbie-Ville. I should just be happy for the "other" 99.99% of things that are completely awesome about this site! Which of course, I am!
