Thanks to everyone who has comforted my kitty, Philip. 
I just remembered, I did buy some cat food so that may account for the missing blessings--I meant to transfer blessings out of the bank to cover the expense, but I may have forgotten to.
In the middle of all this talk about pets, my real, live dwarf rabbit has been sitting on my lap, sniffing the keyboard with his twitchy little nose, and trying to gnaw on his blankie.

Erwin, can you make it so that if someone taunts your animal, you get the blessings that they spent taunting it? I taunted JeffreyLloyd's dog and it took away 100 of my blessings...
